Life After Surgery

Patient are typically discharged 1 - 2 days following surgery Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy procedures. 

In 1 - 2 weeks most patients return to work full time. Return to work can be delayed up to 6 weeks depending on type of work.

Liquid diet is followed for 3 weeks post-surgery, diet is advance under physician guidance.

Patient return for follow up office visits at 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and annually for a lifetime to check vitamin and nutrition needs. As well as provide well-being support as needed.
